Hannah and the Lucas family came to us with a very specific need — to create a way to alert Hannah’s close friends and family that she was in need of assistance when suffering from symptoms of POTS. A mobile app was created with a digital button alerting Hannah’s friends with the touch of a button.

Hannah and the Lucas family came to us with a very specific need — to create a way to alert Hannah’s close friends and family that she was in need of assistance when suffering from symptoms of POTS. A mobile app was created with a digital button alerting Hannah’s friends with the touch of a button.
This pre-crisis tool was available to download in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Our team built notOK as a mobile app, along with a custom content management system for easy maintenance, support, and data collection.
The app was updated to include a guided breathing meditation to help users focus and stay calm while trusted contacts responded. Users could also easily reach out to Crisis Text Line or a warmline for immediate support.
With the latest app updates, a revamped website was launched to educate how the notOK app® was a pre-crisis tool for anyone with an Apple or Android phone.
